1. All employees at contracted locations are expected to complete tasks efficiently as instructed by the Valet Manager
  2. Guests and associates must be treated with courtesy and respect regardless of circumstance
  3. The appearance guidelines are strictly enforced and any infractions are reported by the lead attendant to the valet manager with resulting consequences.
  4. Attendance is considered a huge priority. Schedules are made 2 weeks in advance and any conflict must be resolved with the Valet manager prior.
  5. All employees must abide by the terms and conditions in the EVS Employee handbook as well as any future set policy in the future.
  6. The work environment must remain clean within the designated valet areas as well as the parking garage. and other police procedures set forth by Elegant Valet Service
  7. The sale receipts of valet tickets are saved and logged in the event a refund is needed as well as to deter the occurrence of internal theft. In the event an EVS employee is found to have committed an act of theft, HPD will be contacted by the Valet manager to fill out a police report and an incident report.
  1. All employees are trained on how to respond appropriately to a damage claim, whether the party at fault was valet or not.
  2. Safety of the hospital visitor is priority and in the case of a medical emergency employees are instructed to dial 911 and alert appropriate hospital management.
  3. In the event of a theft by third party, employees will notify management or call 911, per management approval.
  4. As the valet operation is responsible for the vehicles in its care, hazards need to be evaluated and eliminated to make that responsibility easier. Parking facilities should be thoroughly swept daily to get rid of nails, screws, or other sharp objects that could cause a flat tire. Low pipes and exhaust ducts should be clearly marked and flagged so that valets will not hit them with their vehicles. Columns should be wrapped and ramps kept dry. Unsafe vehicles should not be brought into the parking facility. If the brakes or clutch seem faulty, it is the best practice to move the vehicle to a safe parking place in the porte cochere. Pedestrian accessways should be designed to provide minimal opportunities for pedestrians and vehicles to cross paths. Valet paths for running to and from the parking facility should be planned so as not to become a hazard
  1. Fraternization with the hospital staff, patients, and or visitors will warrant immediate removal from contracted location and be grounds for termination.
  2. Using a personal device to record or capture at the contracted location to share on social media will constitute as grounds for elimination.
  3. All Employees are required to be able to read and write standard English language.
  4. Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  5. Must be able to write simple correspondence.
  6. Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization.
  7. Acknowledges and greets guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  8. Uses guest last names during interactions, unless instructed otherwise.
  9. Practices proper phone etiquette.
  10. Posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks.
  11. Park and retrieve vehicles and drive slowly and cautiously.

  1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); OR one to three months related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Ability to operate a manual transmission is required.
  3. Participate and pass pre-employment parallel parking, timed parking, and speed fetch tests administered at the local regional office.
  4. Must have and maintain a valid driver license and clean driving record.
  5. For insurance purposes, must be at least 21 years of age and be able to pass a criminal background and drug screen.
  6. Must complete the Wheelchair Safety Training course provided by Elegant Valet Service.
  7. If providing shuttle services, may be subject to additional requirements.
  8. No visible tattoos.
  9. Applicants must come to the office and must bring a valid drivers license and SSN or TaxID#.
  1. Ticket number 001 to 00200 will be tracked everyday through a log sheet, fresh batch everyday. POS system tracks the location of debit/credit transactions. In the event all standardized procedures fail at retrieving a lost ticket, the hospital will be notified and information on the ticket including the last name of the patient/visitor will be used to identify the appropriate party.

  2. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  3. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally. Must be able to push and pull 75 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally.
